Support Introduction to Criminology as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa’s Main Campus, working in person during Winter 2027.
This part time position supports CRM1300, section F00, in the Faculty of Social Sciences. The work includes discussion groups, marking, student consultations, and exam proctoring. You will follow the supervisor’s deadlines and attend lectures when requested.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate discussion groups for Introduction to Criminology
- Mark papers and examinations according to course requirements
- Hold office hours for individual student consultations
- Proctor examinations during the Winter 2027 semester
- Attend lectures when requested by the supervisor
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Arts Honours in Criminology or equivalent
- Availability for in-person work at Ottawa’s Main Campus
- Ability to meet deadlines established by the supervisor
- Availability to attend the course when requested
- Completion of mandatory legislated University training
