Toromont Cat seeks a full-time, permanent technician serving customers directly from a Toromont service truck. The work focuses on field repairs, testing equipment, safe practices, and trusted customer communication. Candidates need heavy equipment mechanics training, three years of repair experience, and a valid driver’s licence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose mechanical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment
- Repair Caterpillar equipment within established field time standards
- Maintain safe, environmentally sound, healthy work behaviours
- Communicate regularly through on-site customer visits
- Complete repairs with quality workmanship and integrity

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education related to heavy equipment or mechanics
- At least three years repairing heavy equipment
- Experience servicing equipment in shops and fields
- Valid driver’s licence required
- DZ licence preferred
