Operate a reach truck in Mississauga while handling warehouse duties, shipments, and products in a fully onsite distribution centre.
Aerotek is hiring an experienced Reach Truck Operator for a contract-to-hire position. The work combines reach truck operation, material handling, pallet organization, order picking, and shipment verification. Approximately 60% of each shift involves reach truck operation, with general warehouse duties comprising the remaining 40%. The scheduled shift runs from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate reach trucks throughout warehouse aisles and at height
- Move, store, and retrieve products across the warehouse
- Break down, sort, and organize incoming pallets
- Pick orders and verify incoming and outgoing shipments
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety procedures
Requirements:
- Valid external reach truck license
- Previous reach truck experience in a warehouse or distribution centre
- Material handling, pallet sorting, or general labour experience
- Ability to lift and move products up to 50 pounds
- Reliable for the 6:00 a.m. start with steel-toe safety shoes
