Talent Acquisition Specialists at DHC drive proactive sourcing and full cycle recruitment across the organization. This role operates with autonomy while supporting shifting business demands.
Working within DHC’s Talent Acquisition Team, the Specialist provides sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection services. The position builds diverse, high performing workforces through candidate relationships, recruitment strategies, and employment screening. It also supports reporting, social media campaigns, and internal mobility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate recruitment needs and develop resourcing strategies with organizational leaders
- Manage sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate shortlisting
- Facilitate negotiations covering compensation and employment terms
- Build candidate pools for recurring and high volume hiring
- Develop recruitment metrics and identify hard to fill hiring trends
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in HR, Business, or related discipline
- Five to seven years of full cycle recruitment experience
- Knowledge of Provincial and Canadian Labour and Employment Laws
- Recruitment campaign experience using LinkedIn, Indeed, Twitter, or Facebook
- Robust communication, confidentiality, planning, and prioritization skills
