Support external recruitment with Interior Health as a full time Recruitment Assistant, using applicant tracking systems and strong organization. Work location is flexible within the Interior Health region.
This term specific position supports Human Resources recruitment functions through August 18, 2028, or the incumbent’s return. The Recruitment Assistant provides administrative support, recruitment guidance, and communication for hiring managers, employees, candidates, and internal partners. Previous recruitment or HR support experience is expected, with at least three years of related work experience. The position requires accurate records, timely communication, and confident handling of recruitment information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support external recruitment activities and maintain applicant information
- Respond to inquiries and redirect candidate applications
- Produce offer letters and draft secondment agreements
- Coordinate references, verification, and Criminal Record Checks
- Support sourcing initiatives, tracking, events, and recruitment metrics
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Human Resource Management or related field
- Minimum three years of related work experience
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Robust organization, prioritization, judgment, and problem solving
