Operate industrial trucks and specialized units with GFL Environmental at the Stevenage site in Ottawa, using safe driving and load-handling practices.
As an AZ Operator, you will drive combination, power vacuum, hydro excavation, box truck, roll-off, water blaster, and tractor-trailer units. The role includes customer deliveries, inspections, documentation, and compliance with transportation requirements. Experience hauling tankers is required, while roll-off experience is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate wide-ranging industrial trucks and units
- Inspect vehicles, equipment, loads, and safety systems
- Secure cargo and complete loading or unloading
- Deliver products and paperwork courteously and promptly
- Report defects, incidents, and customer delivery problems
Requirements:
- AZ or DZ license with clean Driver's and CVOR abstracts
- Experience hauling tankers
- Ability to drive manual transmissions
- Mechanical knowledge
- Ability to work irregular schedules and variable shifts
