This specialist advises ministry units on occupational and non-occupational illness and injury matters. The position manages absence-related cases with software, third-party providers, HR stakeholders, and Perks teams. It also supports compliance, reporting, wellness initiatives, and policy development across the territory.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate occupational and non-occupational illness and injury claims
- Track active absence cases using case management software
- Advise leaders on modified and graduated return-to-work plans
- Support disability policy, sick leave, and WCB/WCA inquiries




- Prepare absence reports, procedures, training, and educational sessions

Requirements:

- University degree in Health and Safety or disability management
- Three to five years of related consulting experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to protect confidential health and labour relations information
- Advanced MO skills, independence, creativity, and attention to detail
