Support speech and language services at Dogwood Place in Campbell River as a part time Therapy Assistant working under an SLP.

Rivercity Inclusion Society supports people with developmental needs and their families. This Therapy Assistant works with the Speech and Language team at the Dogwood Place Child & Youth Development Centre. The position provides direct and indirect client services based on SLP goals, objectives, and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct client services under speech-language pathologist direction
- Provide indirect client services according to assigned SLP strategies
- Create and maintain program materials
- Contribute to the early intervention intake process
- Support SLP appointment scheduling and administrative tasks

Requirements:

- Graduate of a recognized Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Diploma program
- Hold a First Aid Certificate
- Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license
- Minimum two years' experience working with children
- Experience under a certified Speech-Language Pathologist's supervision
