Support school-aged children as a full time Family Assistant using organized childcare, transportation, and light household skills. Evening and weekend availability is required.
Onni seeks a reliable, proactive Family Assistant / Mother’s Helper to support parents while they are typically present. The work centers on after-school transportation, child-related cleanup, organized common areas, meals, activities, and household routines. A vehicle is provided during work hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete school pick-ups and drop-offs
- Transport children to activities, sports, and playdates
- Prepare and clean up light meals and snacks
- Engage children through games, crafts, reading, and outdoor play
- Tidy playrooms, organize children’s spaces, and handle laundry
Requirements:
- Valid British Columbia driver’s license
- Experience caring for children
- Comfort working with a parent present
- Responsible, dependable, punctual, and organized
- CPR or First Aid certification preferred
