As a Senior Specialist, you will handle Commercial General Liability and Auto Bodily Injury claims from start to finish. The work includes specialty losses, multinational exposure, complex coverage concerns, and collaboration with underwriting, reinsurance, actuary, and senior leadership. You will also support claims capability transformation and mentor Claims colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex GL and ABI claims from start to finish
- Investigate liability, damages, coverage, and recovery potential
- Establish reserves and negotiate claim dispositions
- Manage litigation plans, counsel,
proceedings, and legal expenses
- Provide technical guidance and mentor Claims colleagues
Requirements:
- University degree, college diploma, or completed CIP designation
- Eight to ten years of general claims handling experience
- Experience with complex GL and ABI claims
- Experience coaching and mentoring junior staff
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
