Support pharmaceutical preparation and distribution as a Pharmacy Technician I at Misericordia Community Hosp, working days, evenings, and weekends.
This temporary, part time position provides technical and operational assistance within Covenant Health’s Pharmacy program. You will prepare, check, distribute, and procure pharmaceuticals according to established standards, policies, and procedures. The position is covered by the COV HSAA PROF TECH collective agreement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare pharmaceuticals for Pharmacy Department services
- Check pharmaceuticals according to established standards
- Distribute pharmaceuticals through Pharmacy operations
- Procure pharmaceuticals as required
- Provide technical and operational assistance
Requirements:
- Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program
- Recognized equivalent pharmacy technician education
- Active registration with Alberta College of Pharmacists
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check before employment commencement
- Disclosure of specified previous sexual offence convictions
