Read blueprints and build structural systems as an on site Carpenter working at the employer’s physical location. Apply hands-on skill across wood and lightweight steel construction.

This Carpenter position requires two to less than three years of experience and secondary school graduation. The work includes measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials. You will build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems. The position also includes coordinating site work and supervising workers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join construction materials
- Build foundations and erect walls and roof systems
- Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Schedule site work and supervise other workers

Requirements:

- Secondary school graduation certificate
- Two to less than three years of experience
- Ability to work at the physical location
- Ability to estimate costs and materials
- Ability to instruct apprentices
