Provide compassionate nursing care at Aspira Island View Retirement Living in Arnprior, Ontario, during scheduled overnight shifts. Use medication administration and assessment skills to support residents’ health and safety.
As a Registered Practical Nurse with Sienna Senior Living, you will support residents’ overall well-being and daily lives. Your work includes protected medications, treatments, documentation, communication, assessments, RAPS, and individualized care plans. You will also guide unregulated care workers through training and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents
- Prepare and administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Complete assessments, RAPS, and individualized care plans
- Follow up on concerns and complaints from residents, families, or team members
- Guide, direct, train, and educate unregulated care workers
Requirements:
- Current Registered Practical Nurse registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate
- Current Medication Administration Certificate
- At least one year of geriatric nursing, healthcare, or rehabilitation experience
- Eligibility to work in Canada and successful Vulnerable Sector Check
