Coordinate patient meal services at Shared Health’s Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, using food service supervision and operational planning skills. This is an in-person casual position.

Reporting to the Manager, Food Services, the Coordinator oversees service quality across ingredient control, production, meal assembly, distribution, diet office, and warewashing. The position supports employee training, evaluation, scheduling, and recruitment. It also coordinates equipment, procurement, and patient-related supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and coordinate patient and client meal service activities
- Supervise food service operations across designated service areas
- Oversee staff training, evaluation, scheduling, and recruitment
- Coordinate equipment, procurement, and patient-related supplies




- Ensure safe receiving, storage, and handling of food

Requirements:

- Three to five years of supervisory food service experience
- Recognized two-year Food and Nutrition Management program or equivalent
- Valid certification from a recognized Food Handler’s course
- Experience with trayline assembly, dishroom operations, and quantity production
- Human resource management and computer experience, including CBORD
