This senior specialist supports enterprise-wide communications across Manitoba’s health system. The work combines media response, strategic planning, writing, editing, presentations, and stakeholder engagement. You will support clinical and corporate programs while advising subject matter experts and organizational spokespeople.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research timely responses to daily media inquiries
- Develop issues briefings, key messages, releases, and web copy
- Coordinate media events, town halls, and public engagement
- Execute communications initiatives for clinical and corporate programs
- Prepare designated spokespeople through media training
Requirements:
- Seven years’ progressive enterprise communications and media relations experience
- Five years’ strategic media and communication planning experience
- Three years’ public presentations and media management experience
- Three years’ complex communications project management experience
- Post-secondary degree in communications or related discipline
