Prepare diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in Sutton, working with precision and safety.

This experienced technician role supports clinical Radiopharmacy services for Trust patients and seven external nuclear medicine departments. You will work at the bench and in the cleanroom, contributing to routine production, clinical trials, quality activities, and daily service delivery. The position also provides responsibility for technicians and cleanroom operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Aseptically prepare diagnostic radioactive medicinal products
- Aseptically prepare therapeutic radioactive medicinal products
- Perform in vitro tests using unsealed radioactive sources




- Calculate results and enter confirmed data into the Hospital Information System
- Deputise for a section lead and manage cleanroom operations

Requirements:

- Experience as a radiopharmacy technician
- Extremely high standards of accuracy and safety
- Ability to work within Standard Operating Procedures
- Ability to support clinical trial documentation and scheduling
- Ability to line manage Band 4 and 5 technicians
