Operate 5-axis CNC machines onsite in Newmarket, Ontario, using precision machining and blueprint interpretation to produce high-pressure molds and dies.
This permanent, full-time CNC Machinist role supports high-end manufacturing for engine and machining applications. You will set up equipment, inspect components, adjust operations, and collaborate with supervisors and team members. The position also offers opportunities to develop CNC programming skills while working with Mazatrol controls and related systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, load, and operate 5-axis CNC machines
- Move large parts safely using overhead cranes
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Inspect components and adjust machine operations
- Document setups, production data, and completed work
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of CNC Machinist experience
- Independent CNC machine setup, loading, and operation
- Experience with 5-axis or multi-axis machining
- Blueprint and technical drawing interpretation skills
- Mazatrol controls familiarity and mechanical aptitude
