Prepare financial statements and lead month-end close as a Senior Financial Analyst on a six-month contract in the Greater Toronto Area.
Vaco/Highspring seeks a Senior Financial Analyst with five-plus years of accounting and financial reporting experience. The work includes GAAP, reconciliations, forecasting, and reporting. Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency are required, with Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Manage journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor cash management
- Support budgeting, capital budgets, and financial planning
- Lead year-end audit preparation with external auditors
Requirements:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- CPA designation or active pursuit preferred
- Five-plus years of relevant experience
- Solid GAAP and month-end close understanding
- Current Greater Toronto Area residence and Canadian work authorization
