This Construction Estimator supports accurate, timely estimates and tender submissions under guidance from the Head of Estimating. You will review drawings, specifications, and addenda while assisting with material, labour, equipment, and subcontractor pricing. The position develops practical estimating knowledge across general construction trades.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review drawings, specifications, tender instructions, and addenda
- Complete guided quantity takeoffs for assigned construction work
- Prepare material, labour, equipment, and subcontractor cost breakdowns
- Record assumptions, exclusions, allowances,



and takeoff references
- Submit estimates for review before bid submission

Requirements:

- Diploma or degree in construction management, estimating, or related field
- Two to five years of related experience preferred
- Ability to read drawings and perform quantity calculations
- Working knowledge of Excel formulas and organized worksheets
- Robust attention to detail, organization, communication, and numeracy
