Maintain Carfair Composites facilities and equipment in Winnipeg as an Industrial Maintenance Technician on a full-time afternoon shift. Apply mechanical skills daily.
This six-month temporary position supports preventative maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and facility upkeep across Carfair operations. You will use tools, interpret manuals and blueprints, update maintenance records, and coordinate work with supervisors and operations departments. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and shop machinery
- Clean booths, equipment, dust, tools, and work areas
- Operate forklifts, lifts, cranes, jacks, and bobcats
- Maintain work orders,
equipment records, and maintenance systems
- Complete plumbing repairs and routine equipment checks
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- One to two years of manufacturing experience
- Elementary mechanical aptitude and blueprint interpretation knowledge
- Valuable oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Microsoft Office experience and multitasking ability
