As an Environmental Services Manager, you will manage front-line housekeeping employees within healthcare operations. You will inspect sanitation, maintain staffing, and support patient or resident needs. The position also requires computer proficiency and collaboration with Dietary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead front-line workers supporting healthcare facility cleanliness
- Inspect sanitation, infection control, and facility cleanliness
- Hire, train, onboard, and evaluate housekeeping employees
- Prepare schedules and maintain adequate staffing levels
- Maintain operational logs, records, inspections, and reviews
Requirements:
- Robust computer skills using Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to analyze operational data and productivity metrics
- Healthcare or long-term care leadership experience is an asset
- Understanding of infection control, WHMIS, and OH&S; standards
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
