This relief-based role covers Route Sales Representatives as needed for assigned retail customers. You will develop grocery, gas, and convenience accounts through selling, merchandising, delivery, inventory management, and customer service. Schedules typically total 40 hours weekly but may fluctuate with business demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage product placement, shelf facings, racks, returns, and shelving cleanliness
- Review highest-selling products to identify changing customer needs
- Develop accounts across sales volume, distribution, space, and service objectives
- Execute promotions and secure incremental displays,
racks, and equipment
- Manage inventory to maintain balanced accounts and fresh products
Requirements:
- Valid full G or class 5 driver’s license
- Car access and a clear, clean driving record
- Adaptable scheduling, including weekends and holidays
- Consumer-packaged goods or retail sales experience preferred
- Outstanding organization, problem-solving, and priority-management skills
