Operate a hydroelectric facility with Innergex in Rivière Saint-Jean or Clarke City, Québec, using maintenance and monitoring skills. Bilingual collaboration is required.
As a Plant Operator, you will monitor facility operations, optimize power generation, and maintain equipment, buildings, and site infrastructure. You will investigate alarms, support contractors, operate heavy equipment, and apply safety and environmental requirements. This O3 position requires regular stakeholder collaboration beyond Québec.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the hydroelectric facility
- Optimize facility performance and power generation
- Complete scheduled maintenance and repairs
- Respond to alarms and minimize downtime
- Oversee contractors during maintenance and projects
Requirements:
- Five years’ experience in electromechanics or related maintenance
- Electromechanics diploma or equivalent technical qualification
- French and English bilingualism, spoken and written
- Proficiency with laptops and Microsoft Office applications
- Valuable physical condition, flexibility, and versatility
