Urban Legal Recruitment is pleased to partner with a national leader in Canadian business law on their search for a mid-level to senior Real Estate Solicitor to join their Vancouver office. Our client’s commercial real estate practice group operates at the highest level on the most prominent real estate files in Vancouver. The practice is broad-based and includes the city’s preeminent development practice, supported by an equally strong transactional practice covering acquisitions, dispositions, real estate financings, joint ventures, management arrangements, construction, and leasing. The successful candidate will specialize in development marketing and conveyancing, working on a broad range of commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects. This role also offers cross-border practice opportunities. Qualifications and Attributes:
- A minimum of 5 years of post-call experience as a solicitor in real estate law from a reputable Canadian law firm. A combination of in-house and private practice experience will also be considered.




- Prior real estate development and marketing experience, including familiarity with the Real Estate Development Marketing Act (REDMA).
- Experience with conveyancing, development approvals, and complex subdivisions.
- Experience with the purchase and sale of investment properties, construction and take-out financings, or commercial leasing is considered an asset.
- Client-service oriented.
- Above average academics.

Salary:
