Overview As a Personal Care Worker, you provide respectful, person-centred support. You are a dependable, organized, caring, professional woman who will assist me with care in my home and in the community on a part-time, long-term basis. You live or work in downtown Toronto so you can be close by and help without long commutes. The closest subway stations are Union Station and King St. E. I provide training, and the hours are regular. PPEs are also provided. Compensation begins at $25 per hour. Vacation pay is 4%, with public holiday pay and time-and-a-half for Emergency hours. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to,
- All aspects of personal care, personal hygine, dressing or undressing, skin checks wound prevention, groomin, etc.
- Activities of daily living, laundry, shopping, keeping home organized and clean.
- Meal prep
- Repositioning of legs, light non-mechanical transfers
- Assit with pet cat
- Occasional community assistance Hours:



Monday-Friday starting at 7 am though occasional flexibility at the start or end of each shift may be required. Additional hours may become available to cover vacation or sick time during other shifts and may become long-term. Required: experience with practical caregiving of adults with disabilities, clear communication, and the ability to assist with meal preparation, personal care and activities of daily living are significant to daily responsibilities. A good understanding of the English language and a Vulnerable Sector Check are required. Assets: Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in PSW or Nursing. First Aid/CPR, Food Handler's, or any other relevant certificate. Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 2.0 – 3.5 per week
