(C2C) is a structural and architectural engineering firm with offices in Delta, BC and Rocky View County, AB, and licensed across Canada. We deliver structural design, architectural design, warehouse racking engineering, field reviews, insurance and condition assessments for clients ranging from homeowners to national retailers and public agencies. We are looking for a structural technologist who is highly proficient in Revit and AutoCAD to join our structural design team. The role also includes field reviews and site measurements using SLAM and LiDAR scanning, so you will follow projects from the site to the final drawing set. THE ROLE Most of your time will be spent in the office producing structural models and drawings in Revit and AutoCAD for our engineers. You will also go to site to carry out field reviews, measure existing conditions with SLAM and LiDAR scanners, and process the resulting point clouds to the level of detail each project requires, so they can be used directly for modelling and design.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Structural modelling and drafting (primary focus) ▪ Prepare structural models and drawings in Revit and AutoCAD from engineers' designs and mark-ups: foundation and framing plans, sections, elevations and connection details. ▪ Produce permit, tender and issued-for-construction drawing sets to C2C standards. ▪ Build as-built models of existing structures from point clouds and site measurements. ▪ Coordinate with engineers, architects and consultants, and revise drawings in response to review comments, RFIs and site changes. ▪ Maintain C2C's Revit templates and families and AutoCAD drafting standards.



Field reviews ▪ Carry out field reviews during construction and condition assessments of existing structures, under the direction of the engineer of record. ▪ Take photos, record observations and deficiencies, and prepare clear field review reports on C2C templates. ▪ Follow up with contractors and clients on outstanding items and keep project records up to date. Site measurements and point cloud processing ▪ Measure existing buildings, warehouses and structures using handheld SLAM and terrestrial LiDAR scanners, supplemented by hand and laser measurements. ▪ Register, clean and process point clouds (e.g., Autodesk ReCap, CloudCompare, Cyclone/Lixel Studio or similar) to the level of detail and accuracy specified for each project. ▪ Prepare point clouds for use in Revit and AutoCAD, and check models and drawings against the scan data. ▪ Maintain the scanning equipment and help refine C2C's scanning and processing procedures. WHAT YOU BRING Required ▪ Diploma or degree in structural or civil engineering technology, or engineering. ▪ 3+ years of structural drafting and modelling experience in a consulting engineering or construction setting. ▪ Advanced proficiency in Revit (Structure) and AutoCAD, with a portfolio of structural drawing sets. ▪ Solid understanding of structural systems (wood, steel, concrete and masonry) and the BC/Alberta Building Codes, and how they translate into drawings and details. ▪ Hands-on experience with SLAM or LiDAR scanning and point cloud processing. ▪ Strong measurement discipline and attention to detail; you know how accurate your data is and can prove it. ▪ Clear written English; able to write a professional field report. ▪ Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to sites in BC and Alberta,



including occasional overnight trips. ▪ Able to work safely on active construction sites, in warehouses and at heights, with standard PPE. Assets ▪ Experience carrying out field reviews of structural construction (foundations, reinforcing, framing, steel connections). ▪ Experience with handheld SLAM scanners (e.g., Lixel, NavVis, GeoSLAM), Leica BLK360/RTC360 or similar equipment. ▪ Navisworks and Bluebeam Revu. ▪ Dynamo or Python scripting for Revit automation. ▪ Certification with ASTTBC (AScT) or ASET (CET), or working toward it. ▪ Experience with warehouse racking, industrial facilities or insurance/condition assessment work. ▪ French is an asset.
