Overview We’re hiring Long Haul Truck Drivers for routes across Canada and the USA. You’ll drive well-maintained equipment, get paid for every mile, and have a dispatch team that supports you on the road. Duties
- Safely operate a commercial truck on long-distance Canada-USA routes
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and freight
- Secure cargo and monitor the load throughout each trip
- Keep accurate logs (ELD) and follow hours-of-service rules
- Handle border crossing paperwork and customs procedures
- Communicate with dispatch about pickups, deliveries, delays and vehicle issues
- Perform basic routine checks and minor troubleshooting
- Use a forklift or other equipment to load or unload when needed Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (CDL) licence
- Clean or acceptable driver’s abstract
- Valid passport
- Able to pass a criminal record check and drug screening
- Positive communication skills and sound judgment on long trips Nice to have
- Basic mechanical knowledge Pay and benefits
- $0.55 to $0.60 per mile (approx. $22 to $28/hour equivalent), depending on route, solo or team, and experience Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour Work
