$41.00 per hour, 37.5 hours per week Job Timing: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Vacancies: 4 Start Date: As soon as possible Language: English NOC: 22310 – Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technologists and Technicians Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, connect, operate, and maintain electrical, electronic, and electromechanical equipment and systems used in medical imaging applications, including MRI, CT, X-ray, mammography, and fluoroscopy systems.
- Assist in inspecting, testing, adjusting, and evaluating electrical, electronic, and electromechanical components and assemblies to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and technical requirements.
- Perform equipment installation and system assembly according to manufacturer installation manuals, engineering drawings, technical specifications, and established procedures.
- Install and connect equipment components, control cabinets, electronic assemblies, communication cables, and associated system hardware.
- Assist in testing and troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems to identify installation deficiencies, equipment malfunctions, and connectivity issues.
- Calibrate and adjust electrical or electronic equipment and components according to technical manuals and written instructions, where authorized and trained.
- Assist with equipment commissioning, operational testing,



and verification of system functionality in coordination with manufacturer service engineers.
- Support the protected deinstallation, disconnection, disassembly, relocation, and reinstallation of medical imaging equipment.
- Inspect equipment and components before and after installation or removal and report any damage, deficiencies, or technical concerns.
- Collect and document technical information, installation progress, equipment conditions, test results, and outstanding deficiencies.
- Assist in preparing technical reports, installation documentation, equipment checklists, and project completion records.
- Follow manufacturer requirements, workplace safety procedures, and applicable electrical and hospital safety protocols throughout installation and removal activities. Employment Requirements
- Completion of a two
- or three-year college program in electrical or electronics engineering technology, computer engineering technology, telecommunications technology, or an equivalent may be required for electrical or electronics engineering technologists.
- Completion of a one
- or two-year college program in electrical or electronics engineering technology is usually required for electrical or electronics engineering technicians.
- A minimum of two years of supervised work experience is required in the absence of the above education.
