Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of painting techniques, safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently within a team environment. Experience in construction-related tasks and familiarity with various tools and materials are highly valued. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and patching imperfections to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine painting requirements and specifications
- Apply primers, paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or other equipment
- Utilize hand tools such as scrapers, putty knives, sanders, and caulking guns for surface preparation and finishing touches
- Operate power tools safely for surface preparation and finishing tasks
- Perform concrete finishing, masonry work, or restoration tasks as needed to prepare surfaces for painting
- Install or repair cabinet finishes and other woodwork as part of comprehensive interior or exterior projects




- Work with heavy equipment operation when required for large-scale projects involving scaffolding or lifts
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and project timelines are met efficiently Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction schematics
- Experience with construction estimating and project planning is a plus
- Knowledge of carpentry, tile laying, flooring installation, electrical experience, plumbing, masonry, welding, and concrete forming is advantageous
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when necessary
- Skilled in caulking techniques for sealing joints and gaps effectively
- Familiarity with restoration processes and cabinet installation techniques
- Strong attention to detail with excellent hand tool handling skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various construction environments
