Traffic Controller / Parking Lot Attendant – Brampton, ON Company: Jason’s Security Inc.

Brampton, Ontario Work Environment: Outdoors at a commercial plaza Jason’s Security Inc. is hiring an experienced, responsible and dependable Traffic Controller / Parking Lot Attendant in Brampton. This position involves standing outside a plaza, using a handheld STOP sign to stop and release vehicles, directing parking lot traffic and assisting pedestrians. The successful candidate must have strong physical stamina, previous vehicle direction experience and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Direct vehicles using a handheld STOP sign and clear hand signals, following site procedures.
- Coordinate vehicle movement at designated entrances, exits and parking lot access points.
- Assist pedestrians at designated crossing areas while remaining alert to approaching vehicles.
- Help reduce congestion and keep designated access routes clear.
- Provide friendly, respectful and professional customer service to customers, visitors, tenants and delivery drivers.
- Answer parking and access questions clearly and politely.
- Remain calm and courteous when dealing with impatient drivers or challenging situations.
- Communicate effectively with property management, other traffic controllers and the operations team.
- Report unsafe driving, blocked access, incidents and safety concerns promptly.
- Wear required high-visibility clothing and use assigned safety equipment.




- Remain attentive and actively engaged throughout the shift. Experience and Requirements
- Previous experience directing vehicles is required, preferably using a handheld STOP sign or STOP/SLOW paddle.
- Experience as a traffic controller, traffic control person, flagger, parking marshal or parking lot attendant is relevant.
- Excellent customer service and clear verbal communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk outdoors for extended periods throughout a full shift, with scheduled breaks.
- Ability to work in changing weather conditions, including cold, heat, rain, wind and snow, with appropriate clothing, equipment and weather precautions.
- Strong situational awareness, sound judgment and the ability to stay focused in a busy setting.
- Professional appearance, a respectful attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality and dependable transportation to the Brampton location.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
