Job Summary As an Asbestos Removal Worker, you will support asbestos removal and restoration work by preparing work areas, handling tools, and cleaning in accordance with site procedures. This hands-on role suits someone who works carefully, follows instructions, and contributes to a protected, orderly job site. Responsibilities
- Prepare designated work areas and materials for asbestos removal and restoration tasks, following site procedures and directions.
- Use hand tools and power tools appropriately to support assigned removal, repair, and restoration work.
- Clean work areas and equipment as directed, keeping the site organized and materials handled carefully.
- Coordinate with colleagues, communicate progress,
and raise concerns promptly so work can proceed safely and efficiently. Requirements Asbestos removal certificate Valid class 5 licence and vehicle Practical ability to follow instructions, work carefully, clean work areas, and use hand tools and power tools appropriately is essential to carrying out assigned duties. Construction experience, including asbestos removal and setting up a hordings for the infection control. Experience with steel framing,drywall and taping is preferred. Wage depends on the experience.
