Job Overview We are seeking a skilled an experiences and safety-oriented Digger Derrick Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating digger derrick trucks to install, maintain , and repair utility poles, anchors, and related infrastructure. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work setting. Responsibilities
- Operate digger trucks and related equipment safely and efficiently.
- Install, remove, and maintain utility poles, anchors, and other structures.
- Set up work zones and ensure all safety procedures are followed.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Collaborate with crew members to complete tasks accurately and on schedule.
- Follow all company,
client, and regulatory safety policies and procedures. Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating a digger truck.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Class 3 or higher preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, maps, and work orders.
- Strong understanding of safe work practices and equipment operation.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in various outdoor conditions.
