you’ll support moving and delivery operations by transporting items safely and helping ensure each handoff is organized and professional. Responsibilities
- Load truck with daily deliveries
- Drive commercial vehicles to transport items between designated locations, following established routes and protected handling practices
- Stocking and rotation of all products at store-shelf level
- Communicate clearly with customers and coworkers, provide courteous service, and help resolve routine delivery questions.
- Inventory control both at truck and retail levels
- Order product for customers as required
- Adherence to all Health & Safety, Quality and Food Safety regulations, set forth by legislation and/or by the organization Qualifications
- Valid Class 3 Drivers' License with airbrake endorsement
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with other employees and customers with focus on developing and maintaining excellent rapport
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Ability to work in a physically demanding job and able to work flexible hours
- Minimum high school education Rate of Pay: Wage of current collective agreement year.
