Sales and Store Manager PJ Trailers Canada – Leamington, ON Full-time, Permanent | $80,000–$100,000 per year (base salary plus commission)

About the Role
You'll lead our Leamington store with a clear focus on growing sales. You'll drive retail, dealer, and parts sales, build strong relationships with customers and dealers across the region, and coach a team of three (administration, sales, and parts sales) to deliver great service and results. You'll report to our Vice President of Operations and work closely with our other locations across Canada.

What You'll Do

- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for trailers, parts, and accessories.
- Build and carry out a local sales plan, prospecting new customers and growing existing accounts.
- Grow and support our dealer network in the region.
- Manage key accounts and close sales, and support your team on larger or complex deals.
- Keep the sales pipeline, quotes, and forecasts up to date, and report on results.
- Track the local market, competitors, and pricing to spot new opportunities.
- Represent PJ Trailers Canada at trade shows, industry events, and customer visits.
- Hire, train, and coach your team, with a focus on sales skills, product knowledge, and closing.
- Build a positive store culture centred on outstanding customer service.




- Oversee store scheduling, inventory counts, parts purchasing, and invoicing, with support from our Admin Assistant.
- Keep the store, displays, and property well maintained and merchandised to maximize sales.
- Make sure health and safety policies and procedures are followed.
- Coordinate with suppliers and our other locations on purchasing and operational needs. What You Bring
- 3–5 years of sales experience, ideally in trailers, equipment, automotive, or a related industry.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, closing, and relationship-building skills with both retail and dealer customers.
- The ability to lead, coach, and motivate a small team.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office software such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Dynamics Business Central 365.
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to balance sales, operational, and administrative priorities.
- A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Assets: working knowledge of trailers, parts, and accessories; experience towing trailers; post-secondary education in business, sales, or a related field.
