Overview The Pipe Fitter assembles, installs, and maintains piping systems in manufacturing, construction, HVAC, plumbing, and maintenance settings. This hands-on role uses mechanical knowledge, technical drawings, and practical measurement to complete work accurately and support safe, reliable operations. Duties
- Read blueprints and schematics to plan pipe layouts, identify components, and determine measurements.
- Cut, fit, join, and secure pipe using hand tools and welding methods, including MIG or TIG welding where applicable.
- Measure and check components with calipers and basic math; assist with rigging and positioning materials as needed.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain piping systems, coordinating work with colleagues on site.

Skills Required: Mechanical knowledge, blueprint and schematic reading, hand-tool proficiency, basic math, and accurate measurement with calipers support fitting, assembly, and maintenance duties. Welding capability is useful for joining pipe and completing installations safely. Preferred: MIG or TIG welding, HVAC, plumbing, rigging, and related manufacturing or construction experience can strengthen your ability to contribute across wide-ranging projects and work effectively with colleagues. Pay: $27.03-$55.67 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week Work
