Job Description
StoneCrest Hotels is looking for a reliable, motivated, and hands-on Live-In Hotel Manager to join our team in Whitecourt, Alberta. We are looking for someone who takes pride in running a hotel, enjoys working with people, and can take responsibility for daily operations. The ideal candidate will be organized, approachable, and willing to lead by example. Previous hotel management experience is preferred, but we are also open to candidates with strong hospitality experience who are ready to grow into a management role.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Ensure guests receive excellent service and have a comfortable stay.
- Supervise employees, prepare schedules, and ensure daily responsibilities are completed.
- Handle guest complaints, concerns, and special requests professionally.
- Monitor reservations, room availability, occupancy, and room rates to maximize revenue.
- Ensure rooms, common areas, and hotel facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Review daily reports, financial transactions, and hotel performance.
- Monitor inventory, supplies, and operating expenses.
- Train, support, and motivate team members to maintain hotel standards.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.
- Communicate regularly with senior management regarding operations, challenges, and improvements.




- Reside on-site and respond to urgent hotel matters when required. Qualifications
- Previous hotel management or supervisory experience preferred, but not required.
- Experience in hospitality, front desk operations, or customer service is an asset.
- Solid communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to supervise and motivate a small team.
- Comfortable using computers, reservation systems, and basic reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make sound decisions.
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends when required.
- Must be willing to live on-site at the hotel.
