We're looking for a Payroll Specialist who takes pride in precision and wants a role where their accuracy truly matters. The Payroll Specialist supports accurate, timely payroll processing and related accounting activities. This role maintains employee payroll data, reviews transactions, and helps resolve discrepancies while coordinating with human resources and finance colleagues. Careful handling of records and transparent communication help employees receive dependable payroll support and enable teams to maintain reliable financial information. Duties
- Process full-cycle payroll accurately and on schedule for all employees
- Calculate wages, overtime, vacation pay, and deductions
- Manage remittances for CRA, CPP, EI, and provincial requirements
- Administer employee benefits, ROEs, and year-end T4 preparation
- Handle payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Maintain accurate payroll records and confidentiality at all times




- Support year-end audits and reporting requirements
- Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes Qualifications
- 2+ years of payroll experience, including full-cycle processing
- Strong knowledge of CRA payroll requirements, CPP, and EI
- Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., Ceridian, ADP, QuickBooks) and Excel
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification or working toward it is an asset
- Exceptional attention to detail and discretion with confidential information
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Clear communication skills in English
- Experience with benefits administration or year-end reporting is an asset Pay: $70,700.00-$81,300.00 per year
