: Part-Time / Full-Time Job Summary: The Bartender is responsible for providing high-quality service to guests by preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment. The Bartender will create a welcoming atmosphere, ensure a safe drinking experience, and maintain cleanliness and organization at the bar. This role requires strong customer service skills, a passion for mixology, and the ability to handle a busy bar environment while maintaining professionalism and energy.

Key Responsibilities

- Drink Preparation & Service:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and soft drinks.
- Follow standardized recipes and customer preferences to ensure consistent quality and presentation of drinks.
- Offer recommendations for drinks based on guest preferences and seasonal specials.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately, processing payments quickly and efficiently.
- Ensure that all drink orders are served in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality service.
- Customer Service & Guest Interaction:
- Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Engage with guests, make conversation, and maintain a positive atmosphere at the bar.
- Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Assist in creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere by interacting with guests, especially during busy hours or special events.
- Bar Maintenance & Organization:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the bar, including cleaning glassware, counters, and surrounding areas throughout shifts.
- Ensure that the bar is stocked with all necessary supplies, including liquor, garnishes, mixers, glassware, and utensils.
- Restock bar as needed, ensuring there are no shortages during service and assisting with inventory management.
- Dispose of empty bottles, cans, and trash properly and in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly, such as blenders, shakers, and taps.
- Safety & Responsible Service:
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol, including checking IDs and ensuring compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
- Monitor guests’ alcohol consumption and take appropriate action to prevent over-service, including offering water or food options.
- Be prepared to handle intoxicated guests with professionalism and tact, following company policies to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.
- Handle and report any accidents, incidents, or emergencies promptly and according to FEC policies.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other bartenders, barbacks, and management to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Assist in training and mentoring new staff members as needed, sharing knowledge about drink preparation and guest service.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff, servers, and other departments to coordinate food and drink orders and ensure timely delivery to guests.
- Special Events & Promotions:
- Assist in setting up for special events, including drink specials, themed cocktails, and large group bookings.
- Support marketing initiatives, such as promoting drink specials, happy hour,



or seasonal promotions to encourage guest participation.
- Participate in themed or holiday events by creating specialty drinks and enhancing the guest experience.

Qualifications:

Experience:

- Minimum of 1-2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume, customer-focused environment. Experience in an FEC, bar, restaurant, or hospitality setting is a plus.
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, with the ability to mix and serve drinks accurately and efficiently.
- Experience with cash handling, POS systems, and processing payments.

- Conseiller les clients sur les produits, les promotions et les accords mets-boissons.
- Prendre les commandes avec précision et traiter les paiements au système de point de vente (POS).
