ABOUT THE ROLE

· Effectively perform technical examination according to department and governing standards
· Is responsible for making clinical decisions, exercising judgement to ensure department protocol and patient safety is not compromised
· Participates in departmental Quality Assurance programs and is knowledgeable in the utilization and care of department equipment
· Participates with week-end and on call rotation MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:
· Graduate of a recognized Medical Laboratory Technology program
· Current CMLTO registration
· Current liability insurance PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE,

· Knowledge of Meditech Expanse
· Able to work with minimal supervision
· Exceptional communication skills
