About DENOVIA DENOVIA is a boutique specialty café and wellness destination in Midtown Toronto. We bring together quality coffee, thoughtful hospitality, and a unique wellness experience. We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and self-motivated Lead Barista who can deliver excellent coffee while taking an active role in managing daily café operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare high-quality espresso-based beverages and maintain consistent drink standards.
* Manage daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures.
* Monitor inventory, place supply orders, and minimize product waste.
* Prepare and coordinate staff schedules based on operational needs.
* Support team training, task delegation, and daily workflow.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, customer service, and presentation.
* Proactively introduce café products and wellness services to customers.
* Support sales initiatives and help improve overall café performance.
* Communicate operational updates and concerns directly to management. Qualifications




* Previous barista experience in a specialty café is required.
* Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is strongly preferred.
* Hands-on experience with inventory management and staff scheduling is required.
* Strong espresso preparation and milk-steaming skills.
* Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
* Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
* Sales-oriented mindset with a genuine interest in hospitality and wellness.
* Availability to work weekends as needed. Compensation & Benefits
