Customer Service Representative Royal Kitchen Catering Inc. | Surrey, BC Job Overview Royal Kitchen is seeking motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Customer Service Representatives to join our growing team. This position involves managing customer orders from start to finish, including taking orders, operating our Point of Sale (POS) and Kitchen Display System (KDS), coordinating with kitchen staff, packing takeout orders, and organizing, packing, and labeling daily tiffin meal deliveries. The ideal candidate is dependable, efficient, comfortable with technology, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining exceptional customer service and order accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Order Management
- Greet customers professionally and provide friendly, attentive service.
- Take customer orders accurately in person and over the phone.
- Enter, process, and manage orders using the POS system.
- Monitor orders through the Kitchen Display System (KDS) and coordinate with kitchen staff.
- Manage incoming online, pickup, and third-party delivery orders.
- Process payments and handle cash and electronic transactions.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding menu items, orders, and services. Takeout Packing & Order Fulfillment
- Pack and verify takeout and delivery orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure all items, modifications, sauces, and special requests are included.
- Properly seal, label, and organize orders for pickup or delivery.
- Coordinate with delivery drivers and customers to ensure timely order collection.
- Maintain high standards of packaging,



presentation, and order accuracy. Tiffin Meal Preparation & Organization
- Organize daily tiffin orders according to customer meal plans and requirements.
- Accurately pack individual tiffin meals based on customer specifications.
- Label each tiffin with the correct customer name and order details.
- Verify meal quantities, dietary instructions, and special requests before dispatch.
- Organize completed tiffins according to delivery routes and scheduled pickups.
- Maintain accurate daily tiffin packing lists and communicate discrepancies to management. Daily Operations & Team Support
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary front counter and packing area.
- Restock packaging supplies, labels, bags, containers, and utensils.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Follow established food safety, hygiene, and workplace procedures.
- Assist with opening, closing, and other operational duties as required.
- Support coworkers during busy service periods. Qualifications
- Previous customer service, restaurant, cashier, or food service experience is an asset.
- Comfortable learning and operating POS and KDS technology.




- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize orders during busy periods.
- Clear communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and customer-specific meal requirements.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine packing and stocking duties.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and late-night shifts. Work Schedule Royal Kitchen operates seven days a week with extended operating hours. Operating Hours:
- Monday–Thursday: 12:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Friday–Sunday: 12:00 PM – 3:00 AM Full-time and part-time positions are available. Shifts may include afternoons, evenings, weekends, and late nights.
