SR Engineering Ltd. is a growing consulting firm in Richmond, BC. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced CAD technician. This position will be based out of our office located in Richmond, BC. Qualifications and

Requirements:

- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360, and other Autodesk software applications.
- Degree in Architecture or a related field.
- 1-3 years of Residential or Commercial experience.
- Experience with Architectural Rendering including Sketchup
- Wood construction/design experience is a must.
- A thorough knowledge of the building codes and standards and a good understanding of engineering practices applicable to the wood construction industry. Good knowledge of Canadian Building Codes (BC).
- A robust understanding of multidiscipline building design systems, building specifications, site inspection and general construction protocol.
- Superior organizational, interpersonal, and planning skills.
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Self-starter and works well under pressure and within a team atmosphere.
- Proficient in using PDFs, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- A commitment to providing exceptional client service and developing technical expertise in building science.
- Fast learner with a desire to continually learn and grow.

Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Produce AutoCAD drawings for:
- Drawings for Condition Assessment Reports
- Design, Tender and Construction Working Drawings
- Prepare quantity takeoffs and budget estimates
- Site work:




- Jobsite work progress review
