Overview The Line Cook/Prep Cook prepares ingredients and cooks menu items in a restaurant kitchen, helping keep food service organized and meals ready for guests. This hands-on role includes food preparation, meal preparation, cooking, and serving support while maintaining a clean, orderly work area. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble items according to recipes and kitchen instructions.
- Cook menu items consistently, coordinate timing, and support serving during busy service periods.
- Store and handle food safely, keep workstations clean, and follow food safety practices.
- Restock supplies and communicate preparation needs with kitchen colleagues.
