- Growth opportunities Job Summary: We are looking for a friendly, organized, and energetic individual to join our front-of-house team as a Part-Time Host / Expo. This position plays an significant role in creating a positive guest experience by welcoming customers, managing seating, and ensuring food orders are accurately prepared and delivered to the appropriate tables. The ideal candidate is personable, attentive to detail, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and provide a welcoming first impression.
- Manage the seating chart and coordinate table assignments to ensure an even flow of service.
- Provide accurate wait times and communicate seating availability to guests.
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage the waitlist during busy periods.
- Keep the entrance, waiting area,
and host station clean and organized.
- Communicate effectively with servers and management regarding guest flow and table availability.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Weekend availbility required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Please note that all positions at our establishment are paid positions. Pay: From $17.95 per hour
