It is an exciting, collaborative workplace driven by creativity, entrepreneurship, and impact. ## What You'll Be Doing As a Security Supervisor, you will lead daily security operations and support the performance of security guards across the facility. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Providing ongoing leadership, direction, coaching, and training to site security staff.
- Ensuring all standing orders and scheduled daily shift activities are completed accurately.
- Maintaining site compliance with Paladin Security and client-specific policies and procedures.
- Managing team attendance, motivating guards, issuing commendations, and handling performance documentation.
- Performing security audits, proactive patrols, and reactive security responses.
- Documenting and investigating security incidents or complaints, and communicating updates to the Client Service Manager. *Note: Preparation of a PowerPoint presentation is required as part of the interview and recruitment process for this position.
* ## Must Haves
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid WSIB-approved First Aid and CPR Level C certification
- Immunization record showing proof of two doses of COVID-19 vaccine
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Robust communication skills, tact, diplomacy, and demonstrated reliability ## Nice-to-Haves
- At least two years of security experience in a team lead role
- Post-secondary education in a law enforcement or security program from a recognized college
