Full-Time, Seasonal Pay: $25–$40 per hour, based on experience About the Position Whitby Landscaping & Gardening Services Inc. is looking for an experienced Interlock Installer / Hardscaper to join our growing landscaping team. We specialize in residential and commercial landscaping projects, with a strong focus on high-quality interlock installations, patios, walkways, driveways, retaining walls and outdoor living spaces. We're looking for someone who understands the hardscaping trade, takes pride in their craftsmanship and can consistently produce professional-quality work. Key Responsibilities
- Install interlock patios, walkways, driveways and outdoor living spaces.
- Install retaining walls, steps, landings, coping and natural stone features.
- Perform excavation, grading, base preparation and compaction.
- Cut and fit pavers accurately using concrete saws and other specialized equipment.
- Install proper drainage, bedding materials and edge restraints.
- Operate equipment including skid steers, mini skid steers and plate compactors.
- Read site layouts, follow measurements and work with laser levels.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, cleanliness and job-site safety.
- Assist with occasional sod installation, planting and other landscaping work.
- Work alongside the Landscape Manager and other crew members to complete projects efficiently. Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on interlock and hardscape installation experience.
- Robust knowledge of excavation, grading, base preparation and paver installation.
- Experience installing retaining walls,



steps and complex hardscape features.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment and power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Crew leadership experience is an asset.
- Valid Ontario G driver's licence with a good driving record.
- Reliable transportation to our Whitby location.
- Dependable, punctual and physically capable of performing outdoor construction work. Compensation &

What We Offer
- $25–$40 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
- Approximately 45–50 hours per week during peak season.
- Monday to Friday, typically 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Company vehicles and work uniforms provided.
