Pharmacy Cashier We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Pharmacy Cashier to join our team. As a Pharmacy Cashier, you will play an important role in providing excellent customer service and supporting the daily operations of our pharmacy. You will assist customers with purchases, answer general inquiries, and help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy retail pharmacy setting. Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Accurately process purchases, payments, and refunds using the cash register.
- Assist customers with general inquiries and direct prescription-related questions to pharmacy staff.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and respect patient privacy.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, pricing, and organizing merchandise.
- Restock shelves, displays, and promotional areas.
- Monitor product expiry dates and rotate stock as required.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Keep checkout areas, shelves, and customer spaces clean and organized.
- Support pharmacy staff with general administrative and customer service tasks as needed. Requirements
- Previous retail, cashier, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling transactions.
- Friendly, professional attitude with a commitment to customer service.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy workplace.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn pharmacy systems.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing light stocking duties.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as required. Pharmacy experience is an asset but not required. Training will be provided. Work
