We are hiring Resident Support Workers for the following positions: Seasonal Full Time & Part Time for our Out of the Cold facility Do you have excellent communication skills? Fredericton Homeless Shelters are looking for a Resident Support Workers. Candidates must be able to work night shifts. Shift hours are 8pm to 8am. There may also be some casual hours available, covering vacations and sickness. Resident Support Workers support residents in transitioning forward in their lives, optimizing their physical and mental health and well being as they do so. They monitor resident living areas and assist residents in accessing various services where necessary. They ensure facility cleanliness and safety and security of all residents through observation and interaction with residents. A valid First Aid and CPR certificate is required and you must be able to provide a clear criminal record/vulnerable sector check, and pass a social development check.



Applicants should have some experience of working with vulnerable populations, be mature and respectful in their approach, have excellent judgement/critical thinking skills, a strong sense of responsibility, have good communication skills, be able to work alone and as part of a team, and be reliable and dependable. Life skills/experience is a definite asset in this role.
