About the Role
Our client, a large CPG manufacturer in Cambridge, is seeking a licensed Millwright to keep production and packaging equipment running safely and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose breakdowns quickly
- Align and adjust conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, and drives
- Read blueprints and schematics; weld and fabricate as needed
- Log work in the CMMS
- Follow LOTO, GMP, and safety procedures Requirements
- Valid Ontario 433A Millwright certificate
- Millwright experience in a manufacturing workplace
- Availability for continental shifts, rotating days and nights every 4 weeks Nice to Have
- Food, beverage, or CPG experience
- High-speed packaging line experience
- Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics
