* Role Definition: We are seeking Custodian to join our team at our Wheel and Axle Shop in Hamilton Ontario, maintaining our industrial shop floor as well as our office areas.
Responsibilities:
- Clean washrooms, lunchrooms, floors and general maintenance of facility
- Cleaning of shop floor utilizing and operation of Tenant floor sweeper
- Garbage disposal to outside industrial bins
- Snow shovelling and salting of building entrances
- Communicate with fellow employees
- Duties as assigned by supervision
Qualifications:
- High-school Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1-2 years experience safely working in an industrial environment.
- A moderate comfort level with an industrial environment.
- Forklift Operator certificate a plus
- Ability to work in a physically demanding industrial environment.
- Ability to perform physical activities that require full body mobility,
such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and standing for an extended period.
- Ability to lift 50 lb in a safe manner. Compensation &

- Rate of pay $24.08 with overtime after 40 hrs worked.
- $800 retention bonus (paid after probation, subject to all applicable deductions)
